Sunfall over Swept Sands

Hidden within the sea of goldgrass, this sand swept plain marks the last leg of a well-trodden trade route. A lone town at its center offers reprieve from the many dangers that lurk in the surrounding wastes. Such as a recent plague of blackened gargoyles that terrorize the unending stream of merchant caravans. Tension is rising as an increasing amount of travelers get stuck here after the collapse of the single bridge leading over the canyon to the north. This once unassuming desert plain has now become a hotbed for conflict.

Sunfall over Swept Sands is a mini hexcrawl made for the Weird Tales Shadowdark Game Jam where it placed 11th out of 119 total entries.
